Ensure Compliance
Based on the "Charter of Corporate Ethics," which declares the practice of corporate ethics and the effectiveness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), in March 2023, the Board Director revised the previous "Compliance Code of Conduct" and passed a resolution to establish the "Compliance Declaration" as a code of conduct for all Group employees to comply with laws, regulations, social norms, and the Articles of Incorporation.
Additionally, Compliance Office, which was established directly under the President, was renamed Compliance Department in April 2025 to expand its functions and structure. The department will be overseen by the Compliance Officer, and will work to clarify the ES-CON JAPAN Ltd. stance regarding compliance across the entire Group, while thoroughly strengthening the promotion of compliance management.
About the internal reporting system
To promote compliance throughout the Group, ES-CON JAPAN have established a Compliance Hotline, which serves as a consultation and reporting point in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act and is headed by the Compliance Officer.
All Group employees are able to report and consult on matters deemed problematic in terms of compliance (compliance with laws, regulations, corporate ethics, internal rules, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, etc.), including harassment, and temporary employees and employees who have been retired for less than one year are also able to use this service.
