Promotion of Health& Productivity Management
Initiative Policy
ES-CON JAPAN Ltd. Group regards "sustainability management" as one of the two wheels alongside business strategies for achieving sustainable growth, and is undertaking a variety of initiatives. In particular, in order to steadily promote "utilizing diverse human resources," one of the key themes (materiality) in sustainability management, the Group has set a goal of being certified as a Health and Productivity Management Excellent Corporation every fiscal year.
Furthermore, ES-CON JAPAN Ltd. regard the safety and health of our employees as the foundation of our business activities, and in May 2025 we formulated the "Basic Policy on Occupational Safety and Health" and the related "Principles of Occupational Safety and Health Action," and are actively promoting health management.

Implementation Structure
ES-CON JAPAN Ltd. has established Sustainability Promotion Committee, chaired by President and Representative Director, to oversee all aspects of sustainability management. The Social Committee, established as a subordinate organization of the Committee, takes the lead in promoting health management in close cooperation with the Health Committee. Progress and results of each initiative are regularly reported by the Social Committee to the Director Committee via Sustainability Promotion Committee, and are promoted with commitment by the management.
Various initiatives aimed at achieving health management
Initiatives toward certification as a health and wellness company
ES-CON JAPAN Ltd. responds annually to the "Health Management Survey" jointly conducted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Health Council, and has been certified as a "Health Management Excellent Corporation (Large Corporation Category)" for four consecutive years since 2023.
- Promoting and improving employee health
- Promoting regular health checkups and detailed examinations, conducting training to improve health literacy, and establishing a system for consultations with industrial physicians regarding health issues specific to women, etc.
- Creating a comfortable workplace
- Establishing a system that accommodates diverse work arrangements (e.g., expanding the flexible work system), promoting the use of paid leave, setting up a consultation service during leave of absence and conducting occupational physician consultations upon returning to work, etc.
- Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I)
- Formulating and promoting general employer action plans, conducting training for all employees regarding childcare and nursing care, etc.
- Actively holding health promotion events
- Holding company-wide sports days, participating in half marathons, etc.
Participation in the "Partnership Building Declaration"
ES-CON JAPAN Ltd. have been participating in the "Partnership Building Declaration" established by the Cabinet Office and other organizations since January 2026. The "Partnership Building Declaration" promotes collaboration and coexistence and mutual prosperity with supply chain business partners and businesses seeking to create value, and declares key initiatives to build new partnerships.
In this declaration, ES-CON JAPAN Ltd. have set out our "health and productivity management initiatives" and will promote health and productivity management that takes into consideration the health of all stakeholders.

Regular health checkups (physical examinations)
ES-CON JAPAN Ltd. has achieved a 100% participation rate in regular health checkups (FY2025 results), demonstrating our commitment to understanding the health status of our employees. Furthermore, in order to contribute to sustainable business growth by minimizing labor losses, we are expanding our system from FY2026 onwards to allow all employees to receive comprehensive medical checkups at no cost to themselves.
Preventing occupational accidents and establishing a safe working environment
ES-CON JAPAN Ltd. strives to prevent workplace accidents in accordance with our "Basic Safety and Health Policy" and "Safety and Health Action Principles." In fiscal year 2025, no serious workplace accidents resulting in death occurred, achieving a frequency rate (*1) and severity rate (*2) of "0." We will continue to prevent serious workplace accidents and promote safety and health activities. We will continue to prevent serious workplace accidents, and in the event of an accident, we will analyze the cause and implement measures to prevent recurrence, thereby striving to ensure a safe working environment.

Promoting occupational safety and health through the activities of the Health Committee
ES-CON JAPAN Ltd. holds a monthly "Health Committee" meeting to protect the safety and health of employees and maintain a comfortable working environment. This committee is attended by industrial physicians, public health nurses, and members selected from among employees, who discuss and consider important initiatives related to employee occupational health and safety, such as the status of long working hours and the occurrence of workplace accidents. In addition, worker representatives participate in the Health Committee, and actively exchange opinions with health committee members (including both managers and non-managerial staff) about the implementation status of occupational health and safety and new initiatives, creating a system in which the voices of those on the front lines are reflected in management.
