ES-CON JAPAN have participated in GRESB, an annual benchmark assessment that measures ESG considerations in the real estate sector, every year since 2018. In fiscal year 2024 (reporting period: January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023), we obtained "2 Stars" in the "Development Benchmark" of the GRESB Real Estate Assessment, and have obtained the "Green Star" for the sixth consecutive year.
We will continue to take proactive steps to improve our evaluation.

Starting in fiscal 2023, ES-CON JAPAN will be responding to surveys by the international NGO "CDP." Based on the CDP's evaluation, we are promoting efforts to disclose climate change information, such as improving our internal systems and strengthening any shortcomings.

In 2020, ES-CON JAPAN obtained certification for Eco Action 21, a unique Japanese environmental management system (EMS) formulated by the Ministry of the Environment, and we are currently renewing our certification and registration.

"Eco Action 21" is an environmental management system for proactively and effectively working on "environmental management" such as reducing CO2 emissions. The activities are based on the "PDCA cycle" and aim to be continuously implemented. By continuing environmentally conscious management through Eco Action 21 initiatives, it is expected that companies will not only fulfill their social responsibility of reducing environmental impact, but also achieve management benefits such as cost reduction and increased productivity, and contribute to improving corporate value.

ESG Management Report

ES-CON JAPAN  participates in the Health and Productivity Management Survey conducted annually by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi to select corporations that practice excellent health and productivity management. Since 2023, we have been recognized as a "Health and Productivity Management Excellent Corporation (Large Corporation Category)" for three consecutive years.
